Q.3 Napalm-Girl

I believe that during the time the media exploited the "Napalm Girl" that it wasn't inappropriate. The purpose of this post wasn't to exploit or convey an immoral image purposely, but the media was trying to portray to the public what damage the war had caused at the time. But, many believed that this image of terror and sadness had stopped the war. In an article by laweekly.com Nick Ut, the photographer of the Napalm Girl, states "When I pressed the button, I knew," he says, "This picture will stop the war." The image might have been inappropriate as it contained a revealing image of the young girl running naked down the street whilst her skin was burning as her home was burning down in the background as well. Although in this contrast, exploiting the image in this context definitely changed people's perception about the war, in fact, about any war. People will now see the brutal effect war has on individual's lives, especially the innocen...

The area surrounding this cave was named the Cradle of Humankind because many skeletal remains of our ancestors were discovered there. But Berger was the first paleoanthropologist to actually search systematically underground. Berger arranged a conference meeting at the Cradle of Humankind.
